Village Babin although is small, has something to offer. Dominance is a neoromanic church from white sandstone built in the 30s of the 20th century, projected by very important architect Milan Michal Haminec.

In the year 2002, an idea of the International open-air festival was born, dedicated to local woodcarver Stefan Sivan, one of the most famous artists in Orava. The goal was to reborn wood carvery tradition, which you can experience on your own by visiting the Gallery of art wood carvery.
The grand opening of the gallery was at 13tj of August in 2006 you can see here works of every participant of each year’s wood carvery open-air festival. Exposition is situated on the first floor of the old school and works that create this exposition are not only from Orava, Liptov, Kysuce, Povazie, Saris but also from the Czech Republic and Poland.
In the gallery, you can admire more than 100 wooden plastics with a different theme, but mostly they focus on traditional village life, shepherding, mountain farming, work on the field, religious or maternity. Some of them are 2,5m tall.
